Brand Manager - Cardio

As a Brand Manager, your role encompasses multiple responsibilities. These include developing new products, devising marketing plans, creating promotional strategies, launching new products, and analysing market trends for all products within the Business Unit. Your primary objective is to implement marketing plans that align with the overall strategy and sales objectives of the Business Unit, while also staying within the allocated budget. Additionally, you must ensure that your strategies incorporate SFE metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the brand's marketing initiatives.

Outlined below are the responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that encompasses promotional strategies. Monitor the efficacy of the plan and assess its impact.
  • Drive brand communication and messaging that aligns with the overall strategy.
  • Keep track of market trends, competition, and other external factors that may impact the business.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with the sales team and other stakeholders, ensuring the proper execution of the brand plan.
  • Engage and manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gain insights into market trends, disease dynamics, and brand strategies to align with Continuing Medical Education (CME) and brand communication content.
  • Monitor the brand's performance indicators, including Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and sales analytics.
  • Conduct training programs to support the Sales Force's continued learning and development.
  • Assume accountability for the brand's Profit and Loss (P&L).

The following are the prerequisites for the position:

  • A Science or Business Degree is preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, including previous involvement in product launches.
  • Knowledge and exposure to digital marketing is preferred.
  • Experience managing Cardio or Metabolic franchises is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills for resolving business-related issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities, as well as the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Experience with KOL management and organizing CME events.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in brand management for the healthcare industry is a plus.
