Maurizio Luongo

Chief Executive Officer

In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Maurizio ensures the smooth operations of Menarini in the region. A veteran marketing professional, he was previously appointed as Corporate Consumer Health Business Unit Director of Menarini Consumer Health, where he drove the distribution expansion of the portfolio. Prior to joining Menarini, Maurizio worked in various industries with companies including Angelini, Tigi Italia Healthcare, L’Oreal and Saritel SpA.

Christopher Tay

Chief Administrative Officer

Having accumulated comprehensive professional and management expertise in multiple industries, Christopher oversees the Human Resources, Legal and Intellectual Property, Corporate Branding and Communications, Information Technology and Facilities Management functions in his role as the Chief Administrative Officer. He is also the group’s Company Secretary.

Ho Long Shiuan

Regional Vice President

As the Regional Vice President of Finance, Long leads and directs the full suite of finance services to drive business results across the region, including accounting, tax, treasury, risk management, budgeting and management reporting. He also serves on the boards of various Menarini affiliates and has deep expertise honed from helming financial roles in the FMCG, capital markets and healthcare industries.

Mark Brown

Regional Vice President


Mark is a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, both globally and in Asia. Armed with a deep knowledge of the APAC markets, he leads Menarini’s business in Australia & New Zealand, India, Indonesia, Korea and The Philippines. Mark was the General Manager of A. Menarini Korea and Managing Director of A. Menarini Thailand/Vietnam prior to his move to Singapore.

Brett Hayes

Regional Vice President


Armed with deep expertise in management positions across sales, clinical research, marketing and commercialisation, Brett heads the strategic Specialty Care Portfolio that covers Oncology, Anti-Infectives, orphan drugs and products for rare diseases. Having joined the Company in 2007, he has held numerous leadership roles in diverse markets, including the Managing Director of Menarini China, where he successfully led the team in establishing and cementing a strong foundation for A. Menarini (China) Holding Co., Ltd, in China.

Thomas Birsinger

Regional Vice President and General Manager of Menarini Thailand

Leveraging an extensive track record in managing diverse markets, sales and marketing as well as business development, Tom helms Menarini’s operations in Thailand, while overseeing the Company’s portfolio in Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia. He first joined Menarini in 2010 as GM Vietnam, prior to which, he amassed vast experience across Asia at various pharmaceutical giants including Zuellig Pharma and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Valerie Lau

Regional Vice President

With extensive experience in sales and marketing across both the consumer goods and healthcare industries, Valerie heads Menarini’s Consumer Healthcare portfolio in Asia Pacific and oversees the company's business in Malaysia and Singapore. She is responsible for advancing the region’s Consumer Healthcare strategy including all sales and marketing efforts as well as upholding the excellent execution of both corporate and operational plans.

Glen Godresse

Regional Vice President

Glen heads the Regional MPH Medical Marketing team. Working closely with Corporate Medical Marketing, he develops a strong strategic and operational platform for our broad range of Menarini prescription medicines. Prior to this role, Glen was the General Manager of Menarini Australia and New Zealand. He has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with several major multinational companies, where he has established a proven track record of success in senior marketing, strategic planning and commercial roles across the region.
